COVID-19 Relief & Skill Development
During the unprecedented global crisis of 2019, when lockdowns and curfews brought life to a standstill, our volunteers stepped up to provide extensive services to those most affected, especially roadside dwellers and migrant laborers.
Distributed high nutritional value meals, general medication, and essential commodities to people in Govt. allotted Covid centers.
Conducted several awareness programs in rural and slum areas around Rajahmundry about safety measures, mask distribution, and general hygiene.
Organized special sessions for children to teach them crucial safety measures and provided them with protective masks.
We established a dedicated skill development center for rural women, orphans, and widows. Our motto is to teach income-generating skills to help them become self-reliant, establish their own businesses, or secure jobs to support their families economically.
Professional tailoring, embroidery, and creating eco-friendly jute and cloth bags.
Training in juice making, and preparation of commercial sweets, hots, and pickles.
Managing grocery shopping, soda buddies, cool drinks, kirana, and fancy shops.
Basic computer training, alongside making soaps, detergents, and floor cleaners.
After successful completion of the training, we actively place candidates in related fields for their livelihood. We also teach vital marketing skills so they can successfully sell their homemade products.
If anyone is interested in establishing an independent business, our Trust approaches local banks to help them secure the necessary business loans.
